Pomperaug impaCT


Who We Are

Pomperaug ImpaCT is a student-athlete led club aiming to "impact CT" by volunteering and fundraising for the Salvation Army charity organization. Our mission statement is to bring both our Pomperaug and neighborhood community closer together through our charitable actions as student athlete leaders.

September 2022

Football Push-up Contest 

November 2022 Part One

We packed thanksgiving food boxes for 280 families. We also hosted Babysitting Night at the high school. Raised over $750! It was a huge hit! 

November 2022 Part Two

impaCT hosted Pomperaug's very first Powder Puff. The girl's volleyball and soccer team take on the field hockey and swim team, coached by our senior football players. 

December 2022

In the month of December, impaCT raised money by participating in the Annual Salvation Army Kettle Bell. We also took a trip to the Salvation Army in Waterbury to pack toys for families in need.

October 2021

XC & Girls' Swim and Dive "Lap-A-Thon" fundraiser ($1,554). Athletes found donors to pledge $1 per mile ran / 1,000 yards swam in the span of 4 days of practice

November 2021

We packed thanksgiving food boxes for 300 families (11/17). We were also honored as "silver sponsor" at the Salvation Army Kettle Kick-Off & Sponsor Appreciation Banquet for donating $1,000 (11/18).

December 2021

Our Kettle Bell Fundraiser raised over $3,000. Volunteers from Helping Hands, Tri-M, PHS Football team and more. Additionally, ImpaCT volunteers and the PHS Girl's Lacrosse team packed toys for 745 kids.

January 2022

Our club worked with the Boys' and Girls' basketball team, known as, Court for Support. The number our sports scored in a game corresponded with how much money each player donated. Great job athletes!!

February 2022

During February, our club had an Air Force 1 raffle. Students had an opportunity to buy raffle tickets to win a pair of custom Air Force 1s. Our winner was Logan Keene.

March 2022

In March, our club put on Mini Fridge Madness, an opportunity for students to make a March Madness Bracket to win a mini fridge. Our winner was Ellie Nikolich, who had Kansas winning.

May 2022

In May, the Girls' Tennis team hosted a tennis clinic for LMES. In addition, they partcipated in a court for support fundraiser.

June 2022

In June, impaCT hosted Pomperaug Olympics, raising $779. In addition, raised $779  through a Krispy Kreme fundraiser.
